3420 is near El Paso Union Station.
The early days of restoration have begun.
Later that year it would be moved to another location in El Paso for continued work.
In July of 1981 it was fired up for the first time and ran a number of short local trips around the El Paso area.
It was last under steam in 1985 - I assume it is still in El Paso ?
Built in 1904 for the El Paso & Northeastern Ry and later to the SP.
