Great pic!  Im really curious where in boulder this was shot.  Was the water tank located downtown?  Im guessing this was shot from present day Valmont road.  Just not used to seeing that many tracks in boulder.

The now gone C&S depot was on the other side of the train, Valmont Rd would be just ahead of the train

Thank you so much for posting this. I recently had my Burlington Bulletin #35 out and was admiring the work Ted Rose had done with steam on page 44 at Herrin Junction, Illinois.

Two great artists that captured the spirit of the Q and subsidiaries. Thanks again for the image.
