Chase was along Highway 24 between Minnedoka and Shoshone Idaho. I was the Videographer and Kenny, my Ex Dad in Law (God rest his Soul) was the driver. The Water Tower at Minnedoka was very fitting, and if you listen to the audio, 844 was doing about 70mph. And The "Shoot Em" comment at beginning was strictly a joke because I think the train was a bit Tardy arriving at our location here at Minnedoka. (PLEASE NOTE) I Tried to edit the thumbnail picture for this video several times to 94 seconds, but it doesn't seem to work. Jim Baker Riverside, CA Edited 4 time(s). Yes on this particular day we kind of got lucky, but having traveled this particular highway almost weekly before for many years, I knew it would take the chasers from Pocatello awhile to get here, because this highway eastbound stops west of Minnedoka. Any traffic coming from Pocatello has to stay south on I-84 to Rupert, then head North from Rupert a ways on a highway to reach Minnedoka, while the mainline shortcuts directly west over the American Falls dam to Minnedoka. Anyone who shot video back in the day and attempted to pace the power can easily relate to the pleasure and frustration of the situation.
