The Grand Canyon Railway ran a nice edition to the Saturday morning train today. Thanks to a heads up from a fellow TO member, was able catch it climbing toward MP5 atop rail rolled in 1919.

Go north on Hwy. 64, like you are going to the Grand Canyon, 11.4 miles from I-40 to Pronghorn Ranch Road and turn left. The railroad is ahead a couple of miles to the west, and when you get there you'll see Pittank Road off which this was shot.

Fantastic image, glad you were able to catch it !!!

Is that train at the beginning of running on an "up-hill?" 
Or, is he running on the "level", coming-off a "down-hill"?
