Date: 06/28/02 16:35 Re: Great 4449 run Author: Jim700 Yeh, Chris, they looked a little impatient just cooling their heels sitting on the Brooklyn yard lead clear of track #2 which I had to run through this morning on Amtrak #750 to get around dead trains on the main line. As soon as we got into track 2 I believe they headed out Reed\'s Siding to the junction where more northbound traffic was waiting for them to head out the branch.

He stopped the train on TV highway, got out and it sure looked like he was "going to beans" at the 7-11 across the street. I stopped to let him go by then got lots more video than I had dreamed of as he started up from there and on the Y at Hillsboro. Despite the rain it was a great day. Always is when steam runs. We missed you Burlington John. I only drove 340 miles today. Beat. Here\'s a low res shot at the "beans" stop from my camcorder.
