Steam & Excursion > Steamy SaturdayDate: 07/06/24 05:54 Steamy Saturday Author: march_hare High 70s right now, headed for high 80s with 94% humidity and intermittent showers that will do nothing to make things comfortable. So basically, a day of god awful steam.
I think I'll stay next to the air conditioner and look at images of steam under more pleasant conditions. This is the Northern Central in PA, a beautiful reproduction. Date: 07/06/24 07:00 Re: Steamy Saturday Author: refarkas Superb!
Bob Date: 07/06/24 07:24 Re: Steamy Saturday Author: Tominde That is awesome. One of the best #17 photos I've seen.
17 is down for 15 tear (1472) insoection. I would think that has to bee a pretty simple process on a 15 year old locomotive that is not a very complex design. No superheater, feedwater, booster, stoker, etc. Boiler ultrasound is biggie, Date: 07/06/24 08:57 Re: Steamy Saturday Author: RailRat That is one Fantastic Hot n Steamy!

At first glance it kinda reminds me of the images and engine they used to use in the Wild Wild West TV show, both in black and white and then in color. Robert in Island City Oregon |
