Steam & Excursion > Anyone recognize this car?Date: 10/28/24 13:28 Anyone recognize this car? Author: scraphauler Sitting outside the Candor NC shops of the Aberdeen Carolina & Western. I can't tell if this is an interurban or super old coach. Always something interesting sitting around the back of the shop as their collection of toys grows, I believe that is caboose running gear between the car on flat and stripped switch engine.

Leaf springs on middle piece trucks reinforces caboose frame idea. Looks like Flexicoil trucks on the SW. jb Date: 10/28/24 14:06 Re: Anyone recognize this car? Author: scraphauler boejoe Wrote:

Candor has stripped everything off of it above and below frame except cab and trucks. Rebuilding it for someone I would guess, or who know - it might be additional beer spouts for Engine Room 87! I kinda think interurban as well for the car on flat - they've got a 1920's Edwards Motor Car and what appears to be a PCC car shrink wrapped in plastic on a flat car. Seems they have an interurban interest now, Date: 10/28/24 18:22 Re: Anyone recognize this car? Author: boejoe The Edwards Motor Car (made in Sanford NC) is lettered for Birmingham and South Eastern.
