2002 - American Freedom Train colors

Repainted with AFT colors in 2002 for a 2-day excursion from Portland to Bend and back.  
1.  Bend, Oregon
2.  Crossing the Deschutes River in Oregon
3.  "Let's Roll" - Last recorded words of airline passenger Todd Beamer.  Moments later, Beamer joined other passengers to storm the cockpit of one of the 9-11 flights.

On this 4th of July, 24 years after his heroic effort, I salute Todd Beamer and all of those on United Flight 93 who stood up to defend our nation. I’ve often wondered how I would react in a similar situation. I model my hypothetical plans on those taken by Mr. Beamer and his fellow passengers. GOD BLESS ALL OF THEM - AND AMERICA!!
