I write to say thank you to everyone who has posted such nice coverage of the Ameriacn Freedom Train celebrating our 200th. birthday.  

 Also I write to share the important news that I have been diagnosed with cancer and that I am undergoing a multi-front treatment plan that promises to entend my lifetime to approx.12-18 months.  

   Your prayers will be much appreciated.

So very sorry to read this. Thankfully they are coming up with new treatments all the time. I am still currently in remission with my multiple myeloma. I hope and pray that the treatment plan for you can yield the same results.
Hope to see you on a 2102 trip soon.

Having spent so much time with you the past 10 months and working with you for nearly 30 years, I know cancer doesn't know who it is dealing with.

I am confident you will be riding around in the cab of 614 again. Prayers for you and Karen. You got this!
