Sad to see how the roundhouse has been left to deteriorate by the owners (city of Baltimore). Yes, it will take a bit more money to fix the place up and make the area useable for the museum.

As for the ages, true, may of those folks whom you met and saw have since passed away. However, there are a number of younger folks who have gotten involved over the past 10 years or so. Yes, they still could use more volunteers as all museums do, but at least they are still able to operate and maintain this fleet of streetcars along with the tracks on which they run. As I stated, they do need more money, not only to move forward with the restoration and upgrade to the former Maryland & Pennsylvania R.R. Roundhouse, but just to keep the basic operations in service. If you would really like to help, please send them a check, any amount will be helpful and appreciated for sure. Please send check payable to: The Baltimore Streetcar Museum, P.O. Box 791853, Baltimore, MD 21279. Thank you so much.
