Still, nice photos! Based on the location and date, this would have been November 3, 1989. On that date, the Greenville Chapter NRHS ran a one-way trip from Greenville, SC to Chattanooga, TN. 1218 pulled the train from Greenville to Atlanta, where 611 took over for the next leg to Chattanooga. 1218 then pulled a pair of Atlanta Chapter NRHS excursions on November 4-5; on the Sunday trip, it met 611 and the Greenville Chapter excursion (which was returning to its namesake city) at Chicopee, GA.
