Steam & Excursion > Saratoga, Corinth & Hudson Railroad

Had an opportunity to ride the Saratoga, Corinth & Hudson's (SCH) hour and a half excursion from Corinth to Greenfield (NY) round trip and will say it was a pleasant experience. Our train car host Corey was very informative in telling us what we were seeing which also made our ride educational. The train traveled over welded rail which made for a smooth ride. Coming into the SCH yard, I spotted former D&H 4085 in the process of being restored. When restored it will be sporting a D&H paint scheme. As our trip headed towards Greenfield, I spotted Kings Station. Looking through the station's windows later in the day, I will say it had, from what I could see, a nice display of railroading items. The final photo is of ex-MBTA 1528. Wearing a paint scheme to hono0r our armed forces, it was sold to SCH in 2024. A pleasant experience that was the stop for us!
