Bryan Date: 08/27/25 10:51 Re: Cumbres & Toltec Author: callum_out There's been an ongoing discussion on TO of all this for months, nice of R&R to catch up.

discussed. Better source for an answer would be the Narrow Gauge Forum (https://ngdiscussion.net/phorum/list.php?1) which the topic has been fully covered. I think the biggest shake-up if you could call it that was moving Steve Butler from GM to Chief Mechanical Officer. Out Date: 08/27/25 11:29 Re: Cumbres & Toltec Author: HotWater callum_out Wrote:

When I questioned why that individual was not fired, someone responded that "he's the boss' son.". So, did this latest "management shake-up" cure THAT situation? That part of the situation has not changed. Mr. Butler was hired as GM a couple of years ago. He served for only a short time before he resigned. He has continued to work as a contractor doing repair work on his own. He recently excepted the position as Chief Mechanical Officer. Hopefully, he will have better support from the higher-ups than he has when he was GM. Reference - properly secure a locomotive (diesel?). Wishing Steve Butler continued success - he's a valuable asset to any steam operation.

and as stated, hope they leave him alone to do his job and supply the required assets to make that happen. Yah right. Out Date: 08/28/25 07:21 Re: Cumbres & Toltec Author: Cumbresfan Below is a link to the summary of the August 2 C&TS Commision meeting where the leadership changes are discussed:

Fifty-two years later in 2022, I happened to take one from the same spot.
