Last October my wife & I took a Colorado Rail Tour, which was very enjoyable.  Although I have lots of images, some were somehow moved around inside my computer.  I came across these the other day and thought I'd post them here.  First, something old, then the current diesel electric  [cog] power.  I've included the weather report for the peak that day and warnings about the altitude too.  Lastly, there's a pic of the "moonscape" at the top and a switch with the cog apparatus quite apparent.  Hope you enjoy these!
