Steam & Excursion > 4014 route

By a pure fluke, I will be in  Cheyenne on Tuesday when Big Boy heads to Greeley. As I'm from out of country, am I right in thinking it goes west out of town to Speer Jn then south on the UP?  Chris uk

you are right, speer is more south than , west from town, take  I 25  south from Chian, to the exit that also has the Wyoming tourist office on the sign, also labled hi plains exit, now has a tiny casino too. to view it at speer

many fans go to Terry ranch road  exit as well, a tad further, especially on the return trip,  or shoot from the Interstate bridge , you can shoot  it leaving downtown then hustle out there.
