Steam & Excursion > DLM 52 8055 Steam Locomotive Questions

Does anyone have any info on how successful the 2-10-0 former DB locomotive upgrade was that was done in the late 1990's with Livio Dante Porta and Roger Waller ?
Apparently billed as a light-oil fired non polluting engine with other modernization features. I am actually not sure what was done, so if anyone could elaborate on that, but also how successful, advanced or worthwhile were the improvements.

I understand that it recently made its first trip after being caught in a fire in January 2023.

Must admit that I never heard of it but, what is the reference to "DLM" in your title? Did Doyle L. Mc Cormack have anything to do with it?

On the video site whose name rhymes with "Rue Rube", search for "DLM AG" and you should find something of interest.

It appears a fire happened at the Schaffhausen Depot, and DLM 52 8055 required some time in the shop.  Hope this helps.
