Steam & Excursion > 765 In Black & White

The scanner was running pretty much all day yesterday, with four rolls shot during 765's fall colors excursions on the Indiana Northeastern a couple of weeks ago.  This is the first of six "pages."

1.  The locomotive puts forth a cloud of vapor from the stack departing Pleasant Lake, Indiana, on Friday, October 17th.

2.  Working steam south of Fremont, Indiana.

3.  Passing the grain elevators at Reading, Michigan.

13.  Passing the park on arrival in Hillsdale, Michigan.

14.  After shooting her at the park, we headed to a convenience store for gas and... powder room.  Well, that all had to wait as we discovered said convenient store was located across the tracks from the station and 765 was just easing by.

16.  Easing toward the stop and layover at Hillsdale.

17.  South of Montgomery, Michigan.

18.  I finished the fourth roll during the photo runs at Ray, Indiana, before switching to the digital camera to get a few shots that were posted at the time.  Of the Ray shots, I like this one as it catches the reactions of some in the crowd as the train passes.

Sure enough. Plus, three out of four rolls were T-Max 100. I think I'm falling in love with the stuff.
