Steam & Excursion > Initial ExamplesDate: 01/07/26 00:09 Initial Examples Author: MacBeau According to the website loco-info.com, Juniata built 114 E3a Atlantics starting in 1901. John S. Powell photographed one year old 1610 leading the Pennsylvania Special at Zoo in 1905, the same year E3a 374 was built and recorded also leading the Pennsylvania Special at Zoo. Starting in 1912, these "Light Atlantics" soon received superheaters and new cylinders. The E3a was closer in tractive effort to the coming E6's.
