Double Header on the Cumbres & Toltec

September 16, 2023, on the drive over from Antonito, we intercepted train 216 at Coxo.  To our surprise they were running a double-header that day, K-27 463 and K-36 488.

At the summit, 488 was left on the wye, and eventually went back to Chama light engine.  463 continued on to Antonito with the train.
