What are the first two cars, mail express and combination coach-baggage or what ? Date: 02/17/26 10:26 Re: As Built Author: refarkas Thanks for another first-class posting. Through the photos you post, they show how railroads were such an important part of everyday life. To many, a train like this was just as important as "The Broadway Limited." These smaller trains may not have been as fancy, but they were just as necessary.

Date: 02/18/26 07:57 Re: As Built Author: aehouse I am enjoying this series, showing railfanning more than 110 years ago. Prior to this series, the earliest fan shots I'd ever seen were of Gerald Best and some friends taking photos of the westbound Lackawanna Limited near Conklin, N.Y. (Binghamton area) in 1915.
