She was an O-5-B built by the CB&Q at the West Burlington Shops on July 1937.

Too sad to see them stripped of their jewelry and turned into nails, barbed wire or mid sixties cars. Maybe even fifth generation Subarus by now. I saw some scenes like this too, on the CB&Q, Great Northern, C&NW, and Milwauakee Road. I barely caught the end of Mainline steam, and I'll never forget it. Thanks Dad.

Four Burlington 4-8-4's survive.
