This really captures the history of the times. Of course there is the train, but there are so many other details such as the tower, the pole lines, the signals, and the telltails hanging down.

The time period is correct as the PRR started to replace the round front number plates with keystones in 1927.   They first did this on the passenger locomotives and later included the M-1's and the later classes!!  Another great look back!

It was also a "pride" thing.  The CVRR was known for their immaculate ROW.......
