More likely coal empties? Trainloads of ore didn't go west then, did they?

PRR built the Greenwich ore pier in the 1950s, expecting lots of new import ore. How much ore went ship to rail at Philadelphia before that?

If that was a loaded ore train there would be more than one I-1 on the point of that train. Probably empties headed west for loading. -- Ken
