Which route did they deliver the Big Boy locomotives from Schenectady to the UP? They take the New York Central or were there other routes they used?

Original Big Boy delivery

Sometime along the way I saw a photo of Steamtown's Big Boy on the way to its retirement home. It was on the NKP and sported signage on the locomotive's handrails about being on the way to Steamtown.

in September 1964, upon arriving at Buffalo, UP 4012 was routed to Steamtown at Bellows Falls VT via the Lehigh Valley from Buffalo to Sayre PA to the D&H at Binghamton and to the B&M up the Conn River.
