Steam & Excursion > YW/OP&E 19 in Dennison OH.Date: 04/26/26 12:27 YW/OP&E 19 in Dennison OH. Author: Stevo_Weimario Very much surprised that this wasn't mentioned yet. YW/OP&E 19 was fired up and brought out to Dennison OH to be a part of their USA 250 celebrations.
She was fired up and on display yesterday and today. The folks at the Age of Steam did a magnificent rebuild and restoration! According to the crew, she ran quite well. I expect Boilingman may post images soon. Many thanks to the G&W for allowing this move to take place S_W Date: 04/26/26 12:45 Re: YW/OP&E 19 in Dennison OH. Author: inrdjlg Did No. 19 run on its own to Dennison or was it in tow behind a diesel? If running on its own, did it run engine light or did it have a freight consist of one sort or another?

S_W Date: 04/26/26 14:36 Re: YW/OP&E 19 in Dennison OH. Author: inrdjlg Thanks! I had gone to the Age of Steam Roundhouse & Museum on April 11 and learned there about both the Buckeye 250 train and No. 19's planned display at Dennison.

Author: bmoore765 Too bad that 19 couldn't lead the passenger excursions to Dennison or power some short runs as part of the festival. Maybe too small for the speeds and/or just not broken in yet. Would have been nice to see steam excursions return to the Ohio Central. Nevertheless, the fact that G&W allowed 19 to steam down to Dennison on it's own is a very positive thing.
