Union Pacific needs to get the 844 back on the road!  :-)  

Sure, America and its people love things that are "the biggest and best," so sending the Big Boy to the Eastern U.S. has made plenty of sense.  On the other hand, your videos have to make we wonder how the 844 would have been received had it, rather than the Big Boy, been chosen to travel to Philadelphia.

UP ten wheeler #1243 is engine on display flat car.

In mid-June of that year (1990), UP 844 participated in the NRHS annual convention.
And, it wore the greyhound colors.  Please excuse the poor quality of the attached image.  It's kind of like my memory bank (foggy) these days.
