Built by Baldwin in 1917 as Tremont & Gulf  #30 (in Louisiana).

Looks better with the low senter headlight.  Currently it is high mounted.  My opinion is I don't like it.

As an aside -  wonder why the awning on the water tower.

The baggage car is usually spotted there westbound to get supplies underneath the water tower. The towers themselves have been out of service for years. From what I understand the tanks need new liners and so far the money to repair them has been not allocated by any of the operators as far as I know.

I gotta admit, that was when she looked her best. Change out the whistle for a five or six chime, it would be perfect....

That is THE WHISTLE she wore on the Magma Arizona.  Sorry buddy, NOTHING beats a well tuned 3-chime whistle..

Well Earl I'm a son of the Santa fe and a cousin of the SP, hence my like of five and six chime whistles. Now I will admit her whistle did sound pretty good through the trees back in the day.
