Date: 10/31/04 11:47 Re: Who's Am I? Author: Mgoldman Strassburg's 0-6-0 is former Canadian National #7312 renumbered to #31. This is not that engine, however.
Date: 10/31/04 14:31 Re: Who's Am I? Author: nycman Mitch, I name them No. 1 and No. 2. Can't see No. 3.
Date: 10/31/04 17:29 Re: Who's Am I? Author: Mgoldman Hey Jim.. .
I was waiting for someone to "name" the drivers. But you are correct so far, there are 3 sets of drivers, and a single lead set up front. (What do you call the lead set?) Date: 10/31/04 17:49 Re: Who's Am I? Author: Flowing A 2-6-0 eh? I'm going with Canadian National (Strasburg) #89. And, the lead set of trucks on a steam locomotive are commonly called pilot trucks.
Date: 10/31/04 18:03 Re: Who's Am I? Author: Mgoldman Strassburg / CN #89 2-6-0 - you got it.
Date: 10/31/04 20:09 Re: Who's Am I? Author: nycman And in RR slang, the front truck is a "pony" truck. That Strasburg 2-6-0 has alligator crossheads. I love it. Alco?

My feathers weren't ruffled - I think I'll be sticking with Who's am I rather than "To whom do I belong" - it's more in sync with Where Am I. Date: 11/04/04 01:43 Re: Who's Am I? Author: EspeeGoldenState CNW 475 is a?
Date: 11/04/04 10:57 Re: Who's Am I? Author: Mgoldman Canadian National Mogul 2-6-0 #89, once part of Blount's Green Mountain Railroad was sold to Strassburg in 1972 and was built by the Canadian Locomotive Company.
