This would be my 3rd time through the 'time machine' in Chama, NM. It was nice to see some familar faces that were still working for the C&TSRR. This is one railroad that deserves a place near the top of any railfans "see before it's gone" list. It was definately a treat to see three vintage steam engines hot with a fourth locomotive to be ready soon.

 Date: 09/03/05 12:35 Re: Chama Sojourn Author: WoodwardEJ Nice photos - the one you identify as Toltec Gorge is actually at Phantom Curve (MP 312.3). Toltec Gorge is best viewed from the west portal of Rock Tunnel (MP 315.2). Here's C&TS #497 emerging from Rock Tunnel in September 1999.
