Nostalgia & History > Rio Grande's Railblazer and Fall Sky Color.Date: 10/24/05 20:59 Rio Grande's Railblazer and Fall Sky Color. Author: rcfarewell All,
Rio Grande ran an ultra-hotshot TOFC train called the "Railblazer" for a number of years. During the fall of the year the eastbound run would drop down off the Front Range and into Denver close to dawn. So here's my interpretation of Fall Color for the 'Blazer, shot outside of Denver at milepost 12.6, just west of Leyden siding.
