Speaking of Hobart yard...

Caught this CF-7 moving a caboose around at Hobart Yard...what seems like a lifetime ago...early eighties...

Many years ago at Hobart, I checked track 144-the levee. Stored reefers were there. At each end I had a rock on the top of the rail...if the rockers were still there--not gone or crushed, I sat in the shade and copied the previous days list...saved time not rewriting numbers...

Mike,
You think the early 80's seems like a long time ago, I've been watching trains since the early 40's. I still haven't seen one I didn't like!!

Well Ron...LOL...alot has happened to me since then...that was an entirely different part of my life, compared to now. Kinda footloose and fancy free!
