IIRC. These RS's were repowered with engines out of the retired E-7's. Kensington IL 1-74. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Dan

A truly 3D day this Southbound ore train rolls through Joliet in 12-76 with 4 F-3's #'d 808B,807A,811A,& 810B. Enjoy. Dan

I will have to say that the condition of that diamond in the lower right of the photo makes CSX's track look "well maintained."

....three colors on a paint scheme are always better than one...black!

Is the double slip switch shown in the photo of GM&O 4032 still at Joliet Union Station or has it been replaced with traditional switches?

Photoshopped the last one to see those old F3s....some of these guys still live on Metro North as F10s!

Thanks for your comments. The only puzzle switch left is at the North end of the plant on the UP Southbound. All BNSF trains going to or from the CNIC us this switch. Dan
