(Does anyone know why EMD used the GE 752 motors on the DD35 and the DD35A instead of EMD's D67 motors?)

I think you mean 20,000 horsepower.. 2500hp x 2 x 4 units Like I said before, wish I was just a couple o' years older to get my drivers license then to see these things! I knew Don would have the answer that I was looking for, He's the UP power guru for I have your books, I shall seek more often for UP info <G> Harry ur right, those units r so huge and impressive that I had a hard time on the HP equivilance for them. Thank U both Santa Fe 4644 West out |
