Hey Con got any Eureka yard?

Isn't the Amtrak photo actually looking north.. I know the when you look in the background, you have the Broadway bridge off-ramp in the upper right hand corner and looking towards track #'s 1 through 3. It looks like you are standing under the cover between tracks #4 and #5. That would be looking in a NW direction, so your train has to be a southbound CS then.. Sorry, I starred at this one for a while before coming to this conclusion.. :-)

I agree, it's looking north since the Fremont Bridge is also visible. Doubt this is the Coast Starlight, has only 3 passenger cars.... Great picture though, 217 made frequent trips to Portland.
