the view from the cab. . . .

Caboose that is. Back in the mid '80's, I gave my camera to the conductor on the Wilmington turn and asked him to take a few from the caboose on the trip down Santa Fe's Harbor Sub from Los Angeles to Watson yard. And, he only took a few so here are two that HE took on that trip. Top the reflection building at MP 14 [Aviation and El Segundo Blvd] which I have posted my pictures of the lead power a few times, in the city of El Segundo, CA, and bottom, looking out the rear caboose door near MP 24 at the west end of Ironsides siding in Torrance, CA. I regret in my railroad career I never made a trip in the cupala of a caboose on the rear of a train. I guess I went into engine service too soon?

The top "reflection" shot is interesting because I worked in that building at the time. It was a rotten job, AT&SF big power out the window on the Harbor Dist made it bearable.

I don't know who owns/leases it but it is the building on the northeast corner.
