Ed K. Date: 05/17/06 15:44 Not True?? Author: davew833 The disposition of Muller's E-units was recently discussed on the RYPN interchange. To paraphrase, the best information available suggests that the gutted shell of #5706 was shipped to Sumiton, AL, in 1999 and turned into a wedding chapel(!) #5898 was last known to be in service on the St. Louis, Iron Mountain, and Southern tourist railroad near Cape Girardeau, MO. Their website shows a current operating schedule as of 2006.

Dave Date: 05/17/06 21:16 Re: PRR. E units Author: davew833 The e-units shown on Horseshoe Curve in the 2001 photo belong to Bennett Levin. They are the ex-Conrail executive "E" units restored to PRR appearance. Levin purchased them upon Conrail's demise in the late '90s. They are NOT the same units owned by Andy Muller used on the RBM&N.
