Date: 06/18/06 21:38 Re: SP E-8 Author: john1082 The SP rostered one E-8 and perhaps 10 or so E-9 locomotives. There was at least one E-9 painted in black widow as a test but it was only a test. The Wright book on the Daylight has a picture thereof.

The E8 (#6018) went from "Daylight" colors to scarlet and grey. > or E-9's for that matter? Two. 6048 and 6050 went from "Daylight" to "Black Widow" to scarlet and grey. As an aside, 6051 and E7 #6001 went from "Daylight" to "Halloween" to scarlet and grey.
