Thought that the buildings were on the hillside (northside) of the tracks and not the open or south side of the tracks at McCredie Srings. My guess would be Cruzatte as I have hiked most of this hill. It appears the steam powered train is coming out of a tunnel in the distance as opposed to a cut. There are no tunnels at either end of McCredie Springs. Just curious as the position of the buildings seemed wrong for McCredie Springs. These are very interesting photos.
