This one should have been included with the other three San Mateo Commutes photos...

I have no information other than it saying "San Mateo".

Nice shot of some TMs on the Commutes though...it doesn't appears as though the TM's are going to be too taxed on this trip.

That would be just out of Belmont, heading towards Hillsdale, this spot currently has a control point there named CP Ralston.

Looks like the northern edge of Belmont, right by the San Mateo border. Great pic of a very underpowered commute...

Dang, we all responded within 120 seconds of each other. Photo snipers, we are.

Yep, looks like the old Bekins warehouse, which is still there but painted some new-age razzle-dazzle scheme. Mickey-Dees right next door. Interesting stuff, thanks for posting.

Well, if U-Haul is new age, then that's what it is! <grin> Today, the current tenant in that Bekins building is U-Haul.. at least for the last 15 years now..

Cheers,

Yep, that's the one. They demo'd the one in Redwood City, built some spiffy Condos. Some classic landmarks for the Herb Caen era.

Was this a normal power balance move?

Perhaps a railfan photo special?   The cars behind are driving on the El Camino Real.

The area is now fenced with signs every few feet attached with telephone numbers to call if you are depressed and considering jumping the fence to commit Suicide by Train.
