2-1/4 format with Panatomic-X film Engine is out of focus due to speed.

Stan,

That is a great shot! The black and white plus the small amount of blurr give it the look of a very old photograph. Panatomic-x is a name I have not heard in a long time---is it even still made?

So far as I can determine from the internet it is no longer made. I loved that film.

When I first saw a print of my neg I thought I had screwed up, even with a tripod and cable release, but then I realized it was in focus, the engine was moving faster than the film could handle, just like in the old days.

Stan, wasn't Panatomic-X ASA 25? I shot some as a kid.

I believe that's correct, it could have been less, certainly not more.

Great "Rods down" action photo. Love those med. format B&Ws. could have been 100 years ago instead of 1979...
