2-1/4 format with Panatomic-X film Engine is out of focus due to speed. Date: 10/16/06 12:43 Re: Speed Sierra RR-SLE No. 8 Author: drew1946 Stan,
That is a great shot! The black and white plus the small amount of blurr give it the look of a very old photograph. Panatomic-x is a name I have not heard in a long time---is it even still made? Date: 10/16/06 14:38 Re: Speed Sierra RR-SLE No. 8 Author: px320 So far as I can determine from the internet it is no longer made. I loved that film.
When I first saw a print of my neg I thought I had screwed up, even with a tripod and cable release, but then I realized it was in focus, the engine was moving faster than the film could handle, just like in the old days.
