Nostalgia & History > A SP "oops" 1964 styleDate: 10/26/06 22:06 A SP "oops" 1964 style Author: drew1946 I don't remember the details, but whatever happened, it took place in April of 1964 and, as I recall, made the Murky News. Anyway, outside was GP20 #7211, it long hood and frame having been modified and inside(what was left of) the roundhouse, GP35 #7438 showed off its short hood. Sorry about the muffler, but I was kinda hurrying before someone changed my mind about taking a photo in there. Maybe a case of Lenzen Ave. bumper cars? I mean bumper engines.
This location is now the site of the new Taj MaCalTrain Maintainence facility. Or will that be named after Diridon also? |
