Nostalgia & History > "Hooked Up" Northerns, the "finale" North of the borderDate: 04/14/07 13:59 "Hooked Up" Northerns, the "finale" North of the border Author: ATSF100WEST When the photographer of these CN 4-8-4's tripped the shutter, I suspect that he had a bit of trouble seeing through the camera viewfinder, due to "excessive moisture". By this time, GP-9's (and their kin) were busy burying scenes like this. When I look at this image, I can only imagine how AWESOME the sound must have been. Sanders on full and "straight up" exhaust. It simply doesn't get any better than this!
