After ending excursions in 1979,the Clinchfield RR used them in coal shifter service until sometime in 1981.Don't think they were used again in freight service untill Seaboard System became CSX.Around 1987 CSX ran them on Detroit-Atlanta "Roadrailer" trains,the units were now in the blue and grey CSX paint scheme.There is a video made by Greg Scholl Productions called "CSX F Units" that shows the units in this service.
