Looking for a CP coach key - any sources?
Author: ctjacks

I need to purchase a Canadian Pacific coach key for a 2200-series coach. Can anyone suggest a source for them?

Thanks.

Wow, they really packed 'em in! ;-)

2200 series, those were the curved side cars, no? I often check the CPR listings on ebay, and cannot recall having seen a coach key, much less a switch key, listed there.

Should be a standard Caboose key or if it has a center shaft, its a standard Pullman key.

As far as I know they were all the same. The SPs fit UPs, ATSFs, BN, Etc.

If an SP caboose key or Santa Fe key will work I have a couple of each to spare. I believe both Canadian Roads used a thinner key than the standard SP/ATSF key stock. Want to try on of mine??
