Nostalgia & History > Film locale for movie, "Night Passage"?Date: 03/01/08 20:49 Film locale for movie, "Night Passage"? Author: JoCoLB Today, I got to watch the western movie, "Night Passage," (released in 1957), which stars James Stewart and has a train robbery plot, with lots of steam train scenes. Anyone know the general location for the various scenes and what railroad? I'm guessing some Colorado or New Mexico folks might know.

With the exception of Diamond Jim Brady - a television pilot, this was the last feature film shot on the narrow gauge for twelve years. The next film would be Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in 1968. Source: The Movie Railroads by Larry Jensen.
