Thanks! Z Date: 11/23/08 20:35 Re: UP NW2 purchase price? Author: EMDSW-1 Don't know about an NW-2 but Portland Traction paid $82,547.45 for SW-1 #100 in 1952. By coincidence, GE's bid for a 70-tonner was $88,250.00. EMD got the order followen by another in 1953 for another SW-1 #200.
