And, I don't normally respond to them!

But, I figure this to be a Q SW1 on the lead to a pneumatic turntable (which will be taking it's air from engines brakepipe), somewhere in Missouri.

No one has gotten it so far, but keep guessing.

My second guess is Ft Worth Tx. but I never saw a SW-1 for Frisco down here.

I'll sleep on it tonight and answer tomorrow morning if no one gets it. I'm truly surprised, usually these things get nailed quickly.

Could it be Ottawa, IL? being its a Q switcher. The 9153 was assigned to Aurora at that time.

I ain't never been there wherever this is so I don't have any idea as to where this was at, but it's an interesting picture though. Why are you posing pictures of non Frisco dismals? ;-)

Well, this has been a pretty good one. It was taken in Ft. Madison, Iowa on the Burlington. They seemed to have a little "Peavine" everywhere. This roundhouse is right in a residential neighborhood. Would have like to see it in steam days.

Where exactly in Ft. Madison was it? PRose and Sneebly have previously mentioned CB&Q 9151's (BN 95's) assignment to the Peavine out of Ft. Madison, but looking in modern aerial photos on the usual mapping sites, it's not obvious where the house and turntable was.
