Nostalgia & History > Looking for current photo's of SP caboose's 1020 & 1056Date: 05/05/10 02:46 Looking for current photo's of SP caboose's 1020 & 1056 Author: Starship_Conductor If anybody here at Trainorders has any pictures of, know the current location and/or the out come of these 2 Southern Pacific cabooses, "SP1020 & SP1056", please contact me. Both of these cabooses were used on the "Rialto Hauler" that I used to ride. Knowing what happened to them would be kinda cool! Thank You!

Don't know the fate of the 1056 but SP 1020 is stuffed and mounted at a private residence on Fifield Road in Sankey, CA, apparently with a reefer of some sort. There are a few houses surrounded by tree's.

That was the caboose my dad had when he worked the Ontario and Garbage Locals. I even built a 1" scale model of it.
