Nostalgia & History > Monument in Eureka, CalifDate: 07/25/10 12:49 Monument in Eureka, Calif Author: miralomarail I picked up a very old copy of "Railroad Modeler" Saturday. There was a photo of a Locomotive Bell mounted on a Monument in Eureka, Calif in a NWP yard, in memory of of a mishap at Scotia Bluff, ca. in 1953. Does anyone have any facts about what happened ? A 3 man crew were killed. Thanks, Tom
