Nostalgia & History > Electric/Diesel-Electric Nickname WordsearchDate: 09/01/11 13:25 Electric/Diesel-Electric Nickname Wordsearch Author: fredkharrison Attached is a wordsearch puzzle for 50 nicknames of electric and diesel-electric locomotives. No steamers here, but they will have their own puzzle at some future date. Any railfan who has been around awhile should be familiar with at least 90% of these. Some names reflect a manufacturer or whole class of locomotives, not just one model. Have fun!
P.S. Please don't post your answers until Friday. Thanks! Fred Harrison Central Point, OR CORPpower/JSS/EORS Date: 09/02/11 00:51 Re: Electric/Diesel-Electric Nickname Wordsearch Author: rob_l If you change row 14, column 18 from a "B" to a "G", then you could have a turbine in there too.
